Women’s Running Race Series FAQ’s

We have put together a few race day and pre-race Frequently Asked Questions for you.  But if you can’t quite find the answers you are looking for or please submit your question below, and one of our team members will be in touch shortly.

General FAQ’s

  1. Do I need to sign in or register?

No, there’s no need to sign in or register on arrival. Your race number will be included in your race pack, sent in the post a week before the event.

  1. I didn’t receive my number in the post, I rang and they told me to collect it at the helpdesk?

If you haven’t received your race number in the post, print out and bring along your confirmation email on the day to show us the details of purchase. We will then ask you to fill out a form and give you a new number for the race.

  1. I signed up yesterday, so I haven’t received my number?

On the day, we will ask for your name and details. If we can find your online registration, we will have your original number. If you are not in the system, we will ask for proof of purchase so please bring your confirmation email. We will then ask you to fill out a new entry form and issue you with a new number.

  1. I have signed up in a group and only I got the race number in the post, but no one else in the running group?

If only one member of your group has received a number, the rest of your group will be asked to fill out an entry form on the day in order to be allocated with new numbers.

  1. Do you have a course map?

Yes! Head over to our Women’s Running Race Series Page where you will find  all our race event maps.

  1. Where are the water points, at which KM?

There are numerous water points along the route but as to where these are on the route varies from race to race.

 

One mile FAQ’s

  1. Who can enter the One mile race option?

Our one mile race event is open to all including children, mum’s, dad’s, husbands and grandparents and the courses are buggy friendly. Please note however that gentlemen are only allowed to participate in our one mile race event if accompanying a child or female relation.

  1. What is the minimum age for the One mile race option?

Our one mile race option is open to all ages.   Children aged 0-10 must be accompanied by a paying adult, however children aged 11+ may run unaccompanied.

  1. Can I take part in the One mile race with a pram or buggy?

Certainly! We want to make our one mile race event as inclusive as possible, so buggies are welcome. Please note however if you do run with a buggy we ask that you start from the back and that all buggies/ pushchairs are suitable to run with.

  1. What are the one-mile race vent courses like?

Our one mile course differs from location to location, however all courses are multi-terrain, consisting of a combination of the following; grassland, woodland, and or tarmac.   So please ensure that all footwear and clothing is appropriate for all terrains.

  1. What time will the one mile race event start?

Our One-mile race option will start at 11.45am. However please note that our start time for this race option is subject to change.

Buggy facts

  1. Can I take part in the One mile race with a pram or buggy?

  1. Do I have to pay for an entry for my child if they are in a buggy?

Any child/ baby taking part in our one mile race accompanied by a paying adult will not have to pay entry into the race.
