Join the Royal British Legion for these events and run, jog or walk 5K to help veterans in the Forces’ community gain the skills and self-belief to transform their lives as they recover from physical and mental challenges. The event is open to all ages and abilities, including four legged friends!

Poppy Scotland are asking you to go the #ExtraMile for the Poppy appeal this year. Sign up to the various events on offer and choose them as your designated charity, and you’ll be raising money to help them reach out to those who have served, those still serving, and their families at times of crisis and need by offering vital, practical advice, assistance and funding. 

Remembrance Day 10K, Fareham

This event takes in some stunning views over Portsmouth and the Solent, and some of the proceeds will go to Service charities and Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association, the organisers charity partner for 2018. All finishers will get a stunning Poppy Themed medal to mark the occasion.

St Michael’s Mount Remembrance RunMarazion
11 November 2018
Make sure to wear something red for this multi-terrain 4-mile(ish) beach run, in aid of The Poppy Appeal. The event will start with a two minute silence, and will finish in front of the magnificent St Michael’s Mount.

Remembrance Day 5K, Virtual Race
11 November 2018
Take on this virtual 5K on your own terms. 20% of every race fee will be donated to Scotty’s Little Soldiers – a military charity dedicated to supporting children who have lost a parent serving in the British Armed Forces.

Remembrance Day 100th Anniversary RaceBrightlingsea

Online registration is closed for this one – but there’s still a chance to enter on the day. This is a truly memorable Remembrance Day special event with a unique atmosphere and bespoke medal. There will be an 11am silence within the race itself – a chance to take a slight breather as you remember those military personnel who have given their lives over the years in service to our country.
