Women’s Running Race Series FAQ’s

We have put together a few race day and pre-race Frequently Asked Questions for you.  But if you can’t quite find the answers you are looking for please submit your question via the email address below.

Can I register on the day of the event?

This is possible only if the event isn’t sold out. This will be stated on the website prior to the event.

When do I receive my race pack?

We email you your race number and details and this also goes on the website prior to the event so you can search if you haven’t received your email for any reason. You then collect your race packs at registration on the morning of the event.

What time does registration open?

Registration will be open from 8.15am and will close at 9.45am so please arrive nice and early. Our event hub is on the grassy area in front of the main building. Plan your journey to ensure you arrive with plenty of time to spare.

How do I know I am registered?

You will receive an email confirming your entry. If a friend or colleague has entered as long as they have used your email address in the entry you will receive confirmation.

What happens if I don’t receive my race email?

If you don’t receive your race email it may be because the wrong email address was inputted or the race email went in to your junk mail so please check carefully. All information will can be found by logging in to your user profile and your race number will show within this account area.

Will I receive race information in the lead up to my event?

Yes we send out email updates prior to your event and you can view all event details, news and offers by logging in to your user profile.

Will I be chipped timed?

Yes all our events (unless otherwise stated) are chip timed! In most cases you will use our disposable race chips. You need to ensure you put these on correctly on your shoe (race instructions will be given via email and this info is on your event information page on your event page).

Can I find the race number list prior to the event?

Yes, your event race list will be online approximately a week prior to your event. Please make a note of your race number and that of friends as you will collect your race pack on the morning of the run.

Can I Enter a team?

Absolutely! Get as many friends, family or colleagues together and run as a team. You are not required to run together and each person will receive their own time however it’s just fun to run under a team name.

Can I run with a buggy?

Yes this is typically ok for most locations however please check the run route course as some locations can be a mix of path, trail, grass so not always suitable for running with a buggy. Also please try and stay to the left as much as possible to give room for other runners.

Can I volunteer to marshal at the event?

Absolutely! If you miss out on a place or just want to help out on the day and marshal that would be great. You would be there to support and encourage all entrants. Contact us by filling the form to express your interest. We would welcome you to join our team.

Event Day Information

Arrival and Registration

Timings – 1 mile 9.30am – 5k Women’s Run 10am – 10k Women’s Run 10.10am

Registration will be open from 8.15am and will close at 9.45am so please arrive nice and early. Please refer to individual race location pages for more information on where the event hub is located.

Registration will be set by race number so please make sure you queue in the correct section. Remember you will collect your race number along with your race chip here. You will be using our Chip on Bib race numbers and it is important these are displayed on your outer garment to ensure 1) We can see your race number when running and 2) To help with the timing system to read your time.

Please make sure you pin your race number to your outer garment so we can view this when you are running.

The Kids 1 Mile Race

The Kids 1 Mile Run starts at 930am and Dad’s why not run with the kids! All Kids 1 Milers must be back across the finish line by 950am.
The Warm Up
The warm up takes place around 945am and the 5k at 10am and 10k at 10.10am.

Bag Storage
This is located next to the registration tents. Please note space is limited so travel as lightly as possible.The Run Timings

It is very important we run to time so please ensure you arrive nice and early to collect your race pack. Make sure you either print off your race number confirmation or have this to display on your mobile device when you arrive at registration. There will be different sections for collecting 5k and 10k and Mini the kids race packs. At registration you will receive your race number and chip, and safety pins.

We will have some funky tunes played and we will have a fun warm.
There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.
Please note placings are based on Gun time. So if you are in it to win it aim to get to the front for the start. Gun time is from when the race starts i.e. 10am. You will also receive your net time which is your actual run time from when you cross the starting mats.

After the Event

Everyone will receive a very cool medal. You will be able to check out your instant race results and these also go live to our website and will show within your profile page as well.Sweets will also be available at the finish line.
