The 10th and penultimate race of the 2015 Women’s Running 10K Race Series will be held in Brockwell Park on the 13th September at 10am.
Brockwell Park is a beautiful, historic park located between Brixton, Dulwich and Herne Hill. Containing several historic buildings, a stunning herbaceous flower garden, and three charming historic ponds, the course takes in stunning scenery.
An undulating course with some challenging hills in places, this exciting and varied route is ideal for those looking to challenge themselves over a testing terrain.
This year there will be a 5K option in association with This Girl Can – a steady, one lap race, perfect for those running their first mass-participated event.
All entrants will receive a free goody bag, filled with quality kit and nutritional goods and finishers will receive an event t-shirt and medal for their achievements.
A range of pacers will also be there on the day, covering 50 minutes, 55 minutes, 60 minutes and 70 minutes to help you to achieve your goals. You can meet the pacers here.

Running for Alzheimer’s Society
This year, our leading charity race partner is Alzheimer’s Society. Many people know someone affected by dementia. The society reveals that 850,000 people in the UK will have a form of dementia by 2015 and in less than ten years, this will grow to over a million people. Working to find a cure for this debilitating disease but also to support those living with the condition, the society relies on charity funding to make this happen and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to help raise funds for the charity through the Series.
