Strength: Box jumps are plyometric, explosive exercises that will improve your cardiovascular fitness and improve your capacity for sprinting.

Technique

  • Stand with both feet behind a step.
  • Jump with both feet onto the step.
  • Jump backwards off the step.
  • Complete the move as quickly as possible.

Be safe

The higher the step, the harder your muscles have to work.
